Srinagar, July 27:On the occasion of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) Raising Day, the Director General of Police, J&K, Shri R.R. Swain, extended his warmest greetings and best wishes to all CRPF personnel and their families.
In his message, the DGP highlighted the invaluable role of the CRPF in maintaining internal security, conducting anti-insurgency operations, and providing aid to civil authorities. He praised the strong bond and coordination between the CRPF and the Jammu and Kashmir Police, emphasizing their collaborative efforts in combating terrorism and maintaining law and order in the region. The DGP acknowledged the instrumental role of the CRPF in ensuring the safety and security of the people, commending their dedication, bravery, and selflessness.
“CRPF stands out among all other Central Armed Police Forces as it is closest to the civil police in terms of ethos and orientation, yet remains highly effective in hard kinetic fighting,” said DGP Swain.
“I salute your sacrifices and commitment to protecting our country. May this special day inspire us to continue working together towards a safer and more prosperous India,” he added.
