Chief Justice Hoists National Flag at High Court Srinagar

Srinagar, August 15: The High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh commemorated the 78th Independence Day today. The main ceremony took place at the High Court Wing in Srinagar, where Acting Chief Justice Tashi Rabstan hoisted the National Flag and extended his congratulations to the attendees.
The event was attended by several judges from the Srinagar wing of the High Court, including Justice Atul Sreedharan, Justice Sanjeev Kumar, Justice Vinod Chatterji Koul, Justice Puneet Gupta, Justice Javed Iqbal Wani, Justice Mohd. Akram Chowdhary, and Justice Moksha Khajuria Kazmi.
Also present were the Advocate General of the UT of Jammu & Kashmir, senior advocates, and various officials, including the Registrar General, judicial officers, and staff from both the main and Srinagar wings of the Registry. The Principal District and Sessions Judge of Srinagar and other judicial officers from the district also attended.
Following the flag-hoisting, a contingent of the Armed Forces performed patriotic tunes, and Justice Tashi Rabstan distributed sweets to the Armed Forces members.
