Srinagar, Aug 31 (KINS): In a lively show of democratic spirit, hundreds of new voters gathered in Baramulla town to form a human chain as part of a Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) program. The event, held in the center of the town, aimed to emphasize the importance of every vote in the upcoming 2024 Assembly Elections.
According to news agency KINS, most of the participants were first-time voters who came together to highlight the need for active participation in elections. The human chain, which stretched across the main streets of Baramulla, served as a powerful symbol of unity and civic duty.
The SVEEP program also included the distribution of voter education materials to encourage informed and enthusiastic voting. The initiative was well-received by the local community, with many expressing their commitment to voting in the upcoming elections.(KINS)
