Joint Security Review Meeting Held in Rajouri Ahead of Upcoming Elections

Srinagar, Aug 31 (KINS): In preparation for the forthcoming Assembly elections, a Joint Security Review Meeting was conducted in Rajouri by the Counter Insurgency Force (Romeo).
The meeting was organized under the leadership of the General Officer Commanding (GOC) of CIF(R), in collaboration with the Jammu and Kashmir Police.
This crucial meeting aimed to enhance interoperability and ensure a coordinated approach to security operations during the election period.
Senior officials from both the Indian Army and the Jammu and Kashmir Police participated in the review, focusing on strengthening the synergy between forces to effectively manage any challenges that may arise.
Discussions during the meeting centered on optimizing security measures, improving intelligence-sharing mechanisms, and ensuring a robust response to potential threats.
The joint efforts underline the commitment of both the Army and the Police to maintaining peace and security in the region, particularly during the sensitive election period.(KINS)
