“The Omar Abdullah-led government will fulfill all the promises made in our manifesto. The Cabinet has already passed a resolution for the immediate restoration of statehood to Jammu and Kashmir. We want statehood restored as soon as possible so that the cabinet can be expanded, ensuring representation for all areas,” he told news agency KINS.
“We are accountable to our people, and we will ensure the development and prosperity of J&K. The resolution to restore statehood is a step towards fulfilling our promises,” he added. Raina also mentioned plans to meet with the Jal Shakti department officials to address issues related to the region’s drinking water facilities.
