Sangaldan-Reasi section of the Udhampur-Srinagar-Baramulla rail link project nears completion, services expected by Jan 2025: MoS Railways

Srinagar, Nov 19 (KINS): The Union government has intensified its efforts to complete the Udhampur-Srinagar-Baramulla Rail Link (USBRL) project, a critical infrastructure initiative aimed at enhancing connectivity in Jammu and Kashmir.
Minister of State for Railways Ravneet Singh Bittu stated that the project is expected to be completed by December this year. “The Prime Minister, Railway Minister, and the entire Ministry of Railways are focused on it and trying hard to get the services started by January 2025,” he said as per news agency KINS.
Bittu stated the significance of the project, stating, “This route will boost trade and transform economic opportunities for local communities.”
The USBRL project is poised to be a game-changer, providing seamless connectivity to the Kashmir Valley.(KINS)
