Winter vacations announced for schools in Kashmir and winter zones of Jammu
Srinagar, Dec 6 (KINS): The School Education Department of Jammu and Kashmir has announced the schedule for winter vacations for all government and recognized private schools up to the higher secondary level in Kashmir Division and the winter zone(s) of Jammu Division.
According to a government order, a copy of which lies with news agency KINS for classes up to 5th: From December 10, 2024, to February 28, 2025.
For Classes 6th to 12th: From December 16, 2024, to February 28, 2025.
“Teaching staff of government high and higher secondary schools are directed to report at their respective headquarters from February 10, 2025, to prepare for upcoming Board Examinations for classes 10th, 11th, and 12th. Additionally, teachers must remain available for online guidance to students during the vacation period. Any failure to adhere to these directives will result in strict action under the rules, the government warned,” the order added. (KINS)
