CM Omar Abdullah extends Christmas Greetings

Jammu, Dec 24 (KINS): Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has extended his warm Christmas greetings to all those celebrating the occasion in Jammu and Kashmir and beyond.
In his message, the Chief Minister described Christmas as a blessing for humanity, symbolizing peace, love, and compassion. He emphasized the enduring relevance of Jesus Christ’s teachings, which continue to inspire values such as kindness, forgiveness, and harmony in today’s world.
“Christmas is not just a celebration; it is a testament to the strength of our collective harmony, where every community comes together to celebrate this joyous occasion. The teachings of Jesus Christ remain as significant today as they were then, reminding us to strive for a more peaceful and inclusive world,” stated the Chief Minister.
Highlighting Jammu and Kashmir’s secular fabric, Omar Abdullah commended the region’s spirit of unity and brotherhood. He urged people to use this occasion to reinforce their commitment to these cherished values and extend a helping hand to those less fortunate, ensuring no one is left behind in the celebrations.
The Chief Minister also called on the people of the state to reflect on the true essence of Christmas and carry forward its message of compassion, hope, and goodwill throughout the year.
