Power restored across Kashmir amid heavy snowfall, says CM Omar Abdullah

Srinagar, Dec 29 (KINS): The majority of power supply disruptions caused by heavy snowfall in Kashmir have been restored, providing much-needed relief to residents. Chief Minister Omar Abdullah according to news agency KINS said that out of 41 dysfunctional 33KV feeders, 37 have been repaired and recharged. “Additionally, 639 out of 739 affected 11KV feeders have also been restored, ensuring significant progress in power restoration efforts,” he said.

“The majority of the remaining feeders are expected to be operational by this evening,” said the Chief Minister, commending the efforts of the Power Development Department (PDD). “Kudos to the PDD team for their relentless efforts in this snowfall in such a short time,” he added. (KINS)
