JAMMU, Feb 15 (KINS): The Jammu and Kashmir administration, led by Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, has dismissed three government employees for their alleged involvement in terror-related activities. The employees—police constable Firdous Ahmad Bhat, teacher Mohammad Ashraf Bhat, and forest department orderly Nisar Ahmad Khan—are currently incarcerated in separate cases.
Official sources confirmed that the decision was made under Article 311(2)(c) of the Constitution, allowing the government to terminate employees without inquiry for national security reasons. This move is part of an ongoing crackdown on individuals within the government suspected of having connections to terror groups.
The cases against the dismissed employees are based on credible intelligence and ongoing investigations. The administration has reiterated its firm stance on zero tolerance toward terrorism and any form of support for it.
