Jammu, Feb 27 (KINS): BJP MLA R S Pathania has hit out at the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), accusing its leaders, including former Chief Minister and party president Mehbooba Mufti of making statements that are “out of time, sync, vogue, and place.”
Pathania as per news agency KINS said that Jammu and Kashmir legislative assembly operates under the Indian Constitution and the state’s rules of procedure.
While acknowledging that freedom of speech on the assembly floor is limited within constitutional and procedural boundaries, he suggested that PDP leaders may have been misinformed or “ill-advised” on the matter.
His remarks come as opposition voices raising concerns over governance and legislative processes. The BJP leader stated that the region is governed by the rule of law and dismissed PDP’s recent statements as misguided. (KINS)
