India to brief world about Op Sindoor: Union Minister Kiren Rijiju
Srinagar, May 19 (KINS): Union Minister of Parliamentary Affairs and Minority Affairs Kiren Rijiju, during his visit to Leh, announced that a Multi-Party Parliamentary Committee, constituted by the Centre, will soon travel to various countries to brief world leaders on Operation Sindoor and India’s firm resolve to combat terrorism.
Addressing the media on the sidelines of a ceremonial event, Rijiju stated that Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched Operation Sindoor with the aim of dismantling Pakistan-sponsored terrorist infrastructures. The committee’s international outreach, he said, will reinforce India’s stand on global platforms and counter false narratives.
The remarks came during the unveiling of a statue of the 19th Gyalsras Kushok Bakula Rinpochey at Shardhanjali Park in Leh. Calling it a moment of deep personal honour, Rijiju said, “I consider myself fortunate to be part of this tribute to a legendary figure.”
