Srinagar, May 20 (KINS): Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha chaired a crucial Unified Headquarters (UHQ) meeting at Raj Bhawan in Srinagar.
The high-level session focused on the security scenario and coordination among various forces operating in the Union Territory. Senior officials from the Army, police, paramilitary forces, intelligence agencies, and civil administration were present to review the current situation and strategize future actions.
They said the meeting was attended by top officials from intelligence agencies, the Jammu and Kashmir Police, and various security forces.
The meeting focused on the current security situation across Jammu and Kashmir.
A key agenda point was the upcoming Amarnath Yatra, scheduled to commence on July 3.
Officials discussed and reviewed the security arrangements for the pilgrimage to ensure a smooth and secure experience for devotees, said a source.(KINS)
