Srinagar, Oct 13 (KINS): Four senior leaders from the National Conference (NC) on Monday filed their nomination papers for the upcoming Rajya Sabha elections, scheduled to be held on October 24.
Among those who submitted their nominations were Choudhary Muhammad Ramzan, a former minister; Sajad Ahmad Kichloo, former Minister of State; and Shammi Oberoi, the party’s treasurer.
Later in the day, Imran Nabi Dar, the NC’s state spokesperson, also filed his nomination papers, becoming the fourth candidate from the party to enter the fray.
National Conference has geared up for a high-stakes contest for the four Upper House seats that have remained vacant since 2021.(KINS)
