Jammu, Oct 16 (KINS): BJP Jammu and Kashmir President Sat Sharma (CA) was accorded a warm reception at the party headquarters in Trikuta Nagar, Jammu, on Thursday following the filing of his nomination papers for the Rajya Sabha elections.
Party leaders and workers gathered in large numbers to greet the BJP president with garlands, slogans, and cheers, creating a festive atmosphere at the headquarters.
Sat Sharma was accompanied by BJP J&K Vice President Rakesh Mahajan, who also filed his nomination. Senior party functionaries including Vice Presidents Bharat Bhushan, Priya Sethi, Rajiv Charak, and Rakesh Mahajan, as well as General Secretaries Sanjita Dogra and Gopal Mahajan, were present to extend congratulations.
Party workers lauded Sharma’s long-standing service and dedication to the organisation, describing him as a grassroots leader deeply committed to the public cause.
Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma said he considers himself a dedicated soldier of the BJP, ready to serve the party and the nation at all times.
“The BJP is always ready to face any election on any day of the year. We believe in performance, dedication, and service to the people,” Sharma stated.
After the programme, Sat Sharma, accompanied by senior leaders and supporters, visited the Mata Bawe Wali Shrine to seek blessings before embarking on the next phase of his political journey.(KINS)
