Maa Shakti NGO donates ₹2.30 Lakh to PM relief fund

Jammu, Nov 28 (KINS): Maa Shakti, a Jammu-based social organisation working for the welfare and development of children and youth, has donated ₹2,30,675 to the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund. The NGO submitted the cheque to senior BJP leaders at the party headquarters in Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.

The cheque, along with an official letter of contribution, was handed over by Maa Shakti President R.K. Bhan and other members to J&K BJP President and Rajya Sabha MP Sat Sharma (CA), and Leader of the Opposition in the J&K Assembly Sunil Sharma.

The contribution was made under the guidance of Revered Swami Paul Jee Maharaj, Chairman of Maa Shakti. In its letter, the organisation stated that it preferred to route the donation through credible and committed leadership, expressing full confidence in Sat Sharma’s integrity, efficiency, and dedication to public service.

Sat Sharma expressed heartfelt gratitude to the NGO, saying that Maa Shakti has always worked with sincerity and compassion. He noted that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, every contribution to the PM Relief Fund directly aids the needy and strengthens humanitarian efforts.

Sunil Sharma appreciated the organisation’s gesture, stating that contributions from socially conscious groups like Maa Shakti boost the spirit of nation-building. He said the Prime Minister’s unwavering commitment to public welfare encourages many to participate in such initiatives.

He also praised Maa Shakti’s consistent efforts in uplifting underprivileged children and youth, acknowledging the NGO’s long-standing contribution to community service.(KINS)
