BJP committed to nurturing local talent and cultural heritage: Sat Sharma

Srinagar, Nov 29 (KINS): J&K BJP President and Rajya Sabha MP Sat Sharma (CA), accompanied by MLA Ch. Vikram Randhawa, today released the soulful devotional song “Sajaya Darbar” at the party headquarters in Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.

BJP Media Incharge Dr. Pardeep Mahotra, District Vice-President Divya Jain, producer Sahil Mahajan, and several party leaders and supporters were also present on the occasion.

The devotional track has been produced by Rajat Sharma and Sahil Mahajan; the project is led by Anika Gupta. The song is sung by internationally acclaimed artist Zulikha Farid, composed by V. Kaith, written by Nirbhay Slathia, and directed by KK Malhotra. The bhajan is dedicated to the divine grace of Mata Rani, with blessings from Mahant Shri Bitta Ji of Mata Bawe Wali Mandir.

Speaking at the event, Sat Sharma praised the team for creating a devotional offering that strengthens the cultural and spiritual fabric of Jammu & Kashmir. He said that J&K is blessed with a profound spiritual heritage, and devotional music like Sajaya Darbar not only inspires faith but also preserves cultural identity for future generations. He congratulated the entire team, especially singer Zulikha Farid, for presenting a melodious and meaningful creation that will resonate with devotees worldwide.

He added, “The BJP has always appreciated and encouraged local talent. The Modi government is fully committed to promoting cultural enrichment across the nation. I am confident this bhajan will inspire devotion and touch hearts everywhere.”

MLA Ch. Vikram Randhawa lauded the devotional composition, noting that Jammu has always been a center of spirituality. He said the bhajan beautifully captures devotion toward Mata Rani and expressed happiness that young artists and producers from the region are showcasing local culture on global platforms.

Dr. Pardeep Mahotra appreciated the artistic excellence of the project, stating that devotional music has the power to uplift society and strengthen emotional bonds with cultural roots.

Producer Sahil Mahajan expressed gratitude to Sat Sharma and the party leadership for supporting local talent, saying the team worked with full dedication to create a spiritually enriching offering.

Zulikha Farid, who has performed in nearly two dozen countries, thanked the team and the audience for their support. She also sang a few lines from the bhajan in her melodious voice, captivating everyone present.(KINS)
