Srinagar, Jan 26 (KINS): The Directorate of Information and Public Relations (DIPR) celebrated the 77th Republic Day at the Media Complex, Rail Head, Jammu, on Monday.
Director Information and Public Relations, Nitish Rajora, unfurled the National Flag and paid rich tribute to the martyrs who laid down their lives for the nation.
On the occasion, the Director, along with officers and staff of the department, offered floral tributes to Anil Kumar Abrol, Field Publicity Officer, and Harbans Singh and Anchal Singh, both Projector Operators, who were martyred while performing their duties on this day in 1995.
Senior officers including the Joint Director Information, Jammu, Joint Director Information (Headquarters), Deputy Director PR/AV, Deputy Director PR Jammu, Accounts Officer, Information Officers, Administrative Officer, and other officials were present during the ceremony.(KINS)
