SSP Anantnag disengages SPO involved in NDPS case

Srinagar, April 17 (KINS): In a decisive action reaffirming its commitment to discipline and integrity within the force, the SSP Anantnag has disengaged a Special Police Officer (SPO), Mohammad Ashraf Malik, son of Mohammad Ramzan Malik and a resident of Kuchal, Kishtwar.
The SPO as per police was found to be involved in FIR No. 57/2023 registered under Sections 8/20 of the NDPS Act at Police Station Devsar. Taking serious note of his involvement in the case, the department initiated appropriate action, which led to his disengagement from service.
Police said it follows a zero-tolerance policy towards any form of misconduct or involvement of its personnel in unlawful activities.(KINS)
