Gautam Adani Overtakes Mukesh Ambani to Become Asia’s Richest Person

New Delhi, April 17: In a significant shift among Asia’s top billionaires, Gautam Adani, chairman of the Adani Group, has overtaken Mukesh Ambani to become the richest person in Asia.
According to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, Adani’s net worth has risen to approximately $92.6 billion, surpassing Ambani’s estimated $90.8 billion. The change comes amid a surge in shares of Adani Group companies, reflecting renewed investor confidence and strong market performance.
Adani’s business empire spans infrastructure, energy, ports, and logistics, while Ambani-led Reliance Industries continues to dominate sectors such as telecom, retail, and energy.
Both tycoons remain among the world’s top 20 richest individuals, although rankings continue to fluctuate due to market movements and stock valuations.
The development underscores the dynamic nature of global wealth rankings, where shifts in stock prices and business growth can rapidly alter positions at the top.
