Srinagar, Mar 03: Traffic authorities have announced that due to single lane and poor road conditions at various points such as Dalwas, Mehad-Cafeteria, Panthyal, Nachlana, Gangroo, Hingni, and Kishtwari Pather, only one-way traffic from Jammu towards Srinagar will be permitted on the Srinagar-Jammu National Highway tomorrow.
Light Motor Vehicles (LMVs) will be allowed from Nagrota (Jammu) between 0600 hrs and 1200 hrs, while Heavy Motor Vehicles (HMVs) will be permitted from Jakheni (Udhampur) towards Kashmir until 1800 hrs, after assessing the road condition.
Travelers are urged to exercise caution due to potential shooting stones and landslides, particularly between Ramban and Banihal, and to avoid unnecessary travel during the night hours.
