SMC Addresses Concerns Over Vendor Chaos Near Children Hospital Bemina

SRINAGAR, MAY 01:The Srinagar Municipal Corporation (SMC) responded today to a news article titled ‘Despite relocation, vendor chaos prevails at Children Hospital Bemina,’ clarifying the situation and outlining proactive measures to address the issue.
In an official statement, the SMC stated that there is no designated vending zone near the Children Hospital Bemina. However, it acknowledged the frequent encroachment by street vendors on both the road and footpaths leading to the hospital, causing inconvenience to patients and visitors.
