Police Apprehend Two Terrorist Associates in Shopian: Seize Arms & Ammunition

Srinagar, May 05: In a successful operation on May 05, police, in collaboration with security forces, detained two terrorist associates in the Aloora Imamsahib area of Shopian.
The arrest led to the recovery of arms, ammunition, grenades, and other incriminating materials.
Acting on specific intelligence, the joint operation by the police, Army (34RR), and CRPF (178BN) resulted in the interception and arrest of Amir Ahmad Mir and Zaffer Azad, both residents of Mandujian.
The seized items included a pistol with a magazine, rounds of ammunition, and Chinese grenades. A case has been registered at Police Station Imamsahib, and further investigation is underway.
