Road accident at Taj Mahi-ud-Din’s roadshow in Uri: Several injured, 4 referred to GMC Baramulla

Srinagar, Sep 27 (KINS): A tragic accident occurred during a roadshow in Jabla, Uri Baramulla, organized by independent candidate Taj Mahi-ud-Din.
Several people were injured when a vehicle lost control.
The roadshow, intended to gather support for the upcoming elections, turned chaotic when a Tata mobile vehicle involved in the rally suddenly veered off course, causing panic and injuries.
Eyewitnesses described the scene as terrifying, with people shouting and running as the vehicle went out of control. Emergency services Police and local authorities acted swiftly, rushing the injured to Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Uri. Four of the injured were later referred to GMC Baramulla for advanced treatment.
Taj Mahi-ud-Din and the local leaders of the other parties expressed their sadness over the incident, stating,
“My thoughts and prayers are with those who were hurt. We are ensuring they receive the best care possible,” Taj Mahi-ud- Din said, as per news agency KINS.
An eyewitness at the event said, “It all happened so quickly. The vehicle just swerved, and suddenly everyone was panicking.” The police is investigating the cause of the accident.(KINS)
