CM Omar Abdullah condemns killing of ex-serviceman in Kulgam

Srinagar, Feb 03 (KINS): Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has expressed his deep sorrow over the killing of ex-servicemen Manzoor Ahmad Wagay in Kulgam.
CM as per news agency KINS, wrote on his social media handle, “I am deeply saddened by the tragic killing of ex-serviceman Manzoor Ahmad Wagay Sahab in Kulgam. My heartfelt condolences to his family, and prayers for the swift recovery of his injured wife and daughter.”
Omar Abdullah strongly condemned the “heinous act”, stating, “Such violence has no place in our society and must be condemned in the strongest terms.” He further expressed his hope for peace and justice, adding, “May peace and justice prevail.”
The ex-Army man, his wife and daughter were injured after they were attacked by terrorists in BehiBagh area of Kulgam today afternoon.
Officials said that all three were taken to hospital in injured condition where ex-army man identified as Manzoor Ahmad Wagay succumbed to injuries while his wife and daughter are said to be stable.(KINS)
