Relief mobilised after fire incident in Dachhan area of Kishtwar: Jitendra Singh

Srinagar, Jan 02 (KINS): Union Minister Dr Jitendra Singh on Friday said that immediate relief measures have been set in motion following a fire incident in the Dachhan area of Kishtwar district, where a couple of houses were gutted.
The Union Minister said he personally spoke to the Deputy Commissioner of Kishtwar to review the situation and ensure prompt assistance to the affected families.
“Just now spoke to DC Kishtwar, Shri Pankaj Sharma, after learning about the fire incident in the Dachhan area, in which a couple of houses were gutted. No loss of life has been reported. The administration and the Red Cross have immediately mobilised relief material to the spot. Meanwhile, financial assistance is also being arranged for the affected families…”
Officials said the administration, along with Red Cross teams, reached the spot and provided immediate relief.(KINS)
