Gunfight rages in Pulwama village

Pulwama, Feb 06 : A gunfight broke out between militants and goverment forces in south Kashmir’s Pulwama village on Wednesday evening.
Reports said that a joint team of army’,s 55 RR,Sog Pulwama and CRPF cordoned off Cakoora Pulwama.
While the forces intensified searches towards suspected house the hiding militants fired upon goverment forces triggering an gunfight.
An official said that contact has been established with the hiding militants after having credible input about presence of some militants in the area.
As this report was filed intermittent firing was going on.
