Cross border shelling rages in Poonch, Rajouri

Rajouri/Poonch May 05: Armies of India and Pakistan on Sunday trade fresh exchange of shelling in Rajouri and Poonch districts of J&K.

An army officer said that at about 1100 hours, Pakistan initiated unprovoked ceasefire violation by shelling with artillery and firing with small arms along LoC in Krishna Ghati sector of Poonch and in Keri sector of Rajouri.

Indian army is retaliating strongly, the officer added.(GNS)
