Inmates in district jail Kupwara enter into scuffle, DIG NKR says situation under control

Srinagar, Jun 20 : The inmates in District jail Kupwara Thursday entered into scuffle, resulting in injuries to some among them.

Sources said that some of the inmates of district jail Kupwara were injured today after they enter into a scuffle over some issue.

Deputy Inspector General (DIG) north Kashmir Range, Sulieman Choudhary told news agency that the inmates have entered into scuffle over some issues unknown.

He said the inmates were later segregated to different barracks following which the situation was brought under control. (KNS
