Srinagar July 10: A policeman died in a road accident at Awantipora on Friday morning.
A police official told news agency KINS that a cop died after met with a road accident at Awantipora.
He has been identified as Nazir Ahmad Sofi from Munward village of Anantnag.
According to police, he was on his way to home from Srinagar when he met the accident with a truck. Case has been registered and further details are awaited.
