Ganderbal, Oct 31(KINS): The Cultural unit of Department of Information and Public Relation (DIPR), Kashmir today organized a colourful cultural programme in collaboration with the district Administration Ganderbal at Dumping Park, Kangan. On the occasion, Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal, Shafqat Iqbal was Chief Guest and SSP Ganderbal, Khalil Poswal was Guest of Honour. The program witnessed overwhelming participation of the prominent persons of the district besides a huge gathering of locals from adjoining areas. The program was organized with the purpose to bring back joy and happiness on the faces of people after several months of covid pandemic. The programme was organized under strict adherence to COVID SOPs. During the programme a variety of cultural programmes including folk songs and skits were presented by the renowned artists to entertain the audience through their unique performances which were highly appreciated by the gathering. Among others, the event was attended by ADC Ganderbal, Farooq Ahmed Baba, DSP Ganderbal, Program Officer ICDS, SDM Kangan, CPO, BDC Chairperson Gund and other officers from district administration.
