Power Restored to Sainik Colony After Hours-Long Outage

Srinagar, Jan 27: Residents of Sainik Colony heaved a sigh of relief as power supply was finally restored at 9:04 PM after an extended outage that lasted nearly five and a half hours. The disruption stemmed from a fault in the 33KV line feeding the colony, which was identified at 3:45 PM. Despite the challenges, the power department workers persevered with relentless efforts, ultimately tracing and rectifying the fault to ensure the timely restoration of electricity to the affected area.
The prolonged outage caused inconvenience to residents, highlighting the crucial role of swift and efficient response in restoring essential services. The restoration of power to Sainik Colony underscores the dedication of utility workers in promptly addressing technical issues to minimize disruptions and ensure uninterrupted service delivery to the community.
