Srinagar: As rains lashed valley and snowfall at the higher reaches on Friday authorities have suspended the vehicular traffic on the Srinagar Leh highway and Mughal road.
Officials said that the two highways have been closed as roads have turned slippery and the decision to halt vehicular movement was taken as a precautionary measure.
Meanwhile the official said the Srinagar Jammu highway is open for traffic.
