Srinagar, Jan 10:Road traffic accident awareness drive was organised by ICPS Ganderbal in collaboration with J&K Police/Traffic Police,ARTO Ganderbal and Sponsored by Kirmania Club (NGO) Ganderbal on Thursday.
The general public were given awareness how to be safe on roads and avoid accidents by wearing crush helmets while bike riding and seatbelt while driving, to follow traffic rules and regulations. People were restricted not to allow their children to drive who are underage and without license beside this chocolates, pamphlets and stickers of toll free No 1098 were distributed among general public and certificates of appreciation were given to those who were found abiding traffic rules while driving
On the occasion ADDC ganderbal, SSP Ganderbal Khalil Poswal, DSP headquater Fahad Tak , DSP Trafic Faheen Ali Punjabi, SI Trafic Nadeem , SHO Ganderbal Arshid Salfi , ARTO official, LCPO/Nodal officer ICPU Ganderbal Sameena Anjum, chairman Kirmania club Gandar Nisar Bhat JJB member and DCPU official were present.
