Omar feels heat of Kashmir highway closure, terms it ‘mindless’

Srinagar: Former chief minister of Jammu and Kashmir Omar Abdullah has joined the league of people to have felt the heat of the latest highway order that comes into effect from today.

The national conference leader who was travelling to north Kashmir’s Uri for election campaigning shared his plight on social networking site Twitter.

‘Driving to Uri I’m getting to see first hand the extent of disruption & inconvenience that is being caused to people because of the mindless highway closure order that is in place today.’ Omar tweeted.

Last week the government ordered closure of Kashmir highway for civilian traffic on two days of the week.

The diktat has since been criticised by one and all terming it as anti people.
