Hizb condemns killing of active militant’s brother

Srinagar, May 23 : Hizb-ul-Mujahideen on Thursday condemned the killing of Zahoor Ahmad Sheikh, brother of active militant in Tahab area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district.

In a tete-statement issued to KNS, Hizb operation spokesman Burhan-u-Din quoted the outfit Deputy Chief, Saifullah Khalid and said that “such killings can’t suppress the people.”

He said that “Zahoor was picked up by Army and the reason behind arresting him was his brother who is a militant. He has been tortured in the camp due to which he has died.”

Hizb operational spokesman quoted outfit Deputy Chief and field operational commander Mohammad Bin Qasim as condemning the killing of Zahoor Ahmad Sheikh. (KNS)
