Baramulla, Jun 12 : The Child Protection Services Baramulla launched an anti child labour drive on the International day of Child Labour in the main town of Baramulla and its adjoining areas.
The team checked Hotels, Dhabas, Bakey Shops, Workshops and other business establishments operating in the town.
The team raised awareness regarding legislations related to the children like J&K Jammu and Kashmir Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act 2013, Child Labour (Prohibition and Regulation) Act.
The team comprised of Chairperson CWC Baramulla, Mr. Shafeeq u Rahman, Member CWC Mr. Waseem Hassan, Protection Officer Mr. Shahnawaz Sharif and Counsellor Mr. Hilal Ahmad.
