Poonch, June 16 : Armies of India and Pakistan on Sunday trade heavy exchange of fire along the LoC at several places in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir.
An official said that Pakistani army opened unprovoked fire at Indian posts at Upper Bandi Chechian, Qasba, Kirni and Mandhar.
The soldiers manning the fence responded strongly and when this report was filed the exchange of shelling was going on. (GNS)
