Srinagar, Jul 09 : Three day workshop on childrens litrature in Kashmiri language concluded here at Yousmarg today.
The workshop being organised by Sahitya Akademi (Nationa Akademi of letters) New Delhi under the directions and guidence of Dr Aziz Hajini who is Convenor of the Kashmiri Advisory Board at Sahitya Akademi.
Noted folk lorist and expert in children literature G N Aatish was the resource person of the workshop while as Majeed Majazi, Muzaffar Hussain Dilber, Dr Nissar u Nabi, Syed Abid Gouhar, Aabid Ashraf, Ghulam Rasool Josh, Reyaz Anznoo and Gh Ahmad Makhmoor were the other participants of the workshop.
“Childrens litrature produced in various geners of Kashmiri language during the workshop shall be published in a book form by Sahitya Akademi within couple of months,” said Dr.Hajini on the conclusion of the workshop.
The main objective was to orient and sensitize writers of Kashmiri language about the technicalities and other related nicities of childrens literature.
“Such workshops will continue in future also, said the convenor of Kashmiri for Sahitya Akademi while concluding the workshop.
