Handful of Kashmir based leaders oppose NCs resolution, endorsed by a majority: MLA Salaman Ali Sagar

Srianagar, Nov 07 (KINS): National Conference (NC) MLA Salman Ali Sagar criticized the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for its focus on passing resolutions in the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly rather than addressing the essential needs of the people.
Speaking to news agency KINS, Sagar called on BJP members to shift their attention from “political agendas” to the real issues facing residents, including electricity, water, roads, and local development.
Addressing allegations from certain leaders that NCs resolution lacks constitutional validity, Sagar pointed out a double standard, saying a handful of Kashmir based leaders are opposing the resolution which was endorsed by a majority.
He added that these political moves reflect BJP’s “political concerns” and “insecurities.” Sagar urged BJP and its allies to end what he described as disruptive tactics and refocus on the welfare and interests of Jammu and Kashmir’s people.(KINS)
