Two injured in south Kashmir mysterious blast

Two persons were injured in a mysterious blast in Chaean village of Devsar in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Sunday.

Local sources said that a mysterious blast occurred Chaean village of Kulgam, resulting in injuries to two others.

The injured were identified as Sandeep Kumar son of Santish Kumar from Chhattisgarh and Suhail Ahmad Bhat son of Sajad Bhat a resident of Chaean Adigam.

An official also confirmed it and said that the injured were rushed to a nearby hospital where from they were referred to Srinagar for specialized treatment.

Soon after the blast, the contingents of forces have cordoned off the area and searches have been launched. However, the cause of the blast was not known immediately.
