Man killed as shed collapsed in Handwara village

 

Srinagar, July 24 : A 67-year old man was killed after a shed collapsed in Chotipora of Mawer in Handwara area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Wednesday.

Reports reaching said that the 67-year-old Ghulam Nabi Bhat son of Ghulam Qadir Bhat of Chontipora village got trapped after the shed collapsed and he came under it today afternoon.

Soon after the incident, locals evacuated him to nearby hospital where doctors declared him brought dead on arrival.

A police officer also confirmed the death of the man in the incident. (GNS)
