Baramulla : Security forces launched a cordon and search operation at a village in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Saturday morning.
A police official said that a joint team of army, SOG and Central Reserved Police Force personnel laid a seige in Namblan village of Sheeri Baramulla and began a search operation.
The operation was launched following inputs the presence of militants in the area official added.
Door to door searches were going on when last reports came.
