Police distributes food items in Kupwara and Sopore

 

April 06: Continuing its efforts to reach out the needy people, Police provided food and other eatable items in Kupwara district and PD Sopore. Kupwara Police facilitated the distribution of essentials in collaboration with NGO Goonj.

In Kupwara, Police team headed by SHO PS Sogam in collaboration with NGO Goonj reached out to the needy people of Khodi and Doniwari areas of PS Sogam and provided essential items including food items and eatables.

Similarly in Sopore, food items and eatables were distributed among needy people by the Police team in the areas of Police Station Bomai.

Apart from these drives, People were made aware to take precautions to fight back Coronavirus Pandemic, besides sought their co-operation and obedience to the guidelines as provided by government and not to come out of homes unless there is an emergency.“`
