Dy Mayor oversees sanitization works at Lal Bazar

SRINAGAR, APRIL 17: Continuing sanitization work, a team of workers of Srinagar Municipal Corporation (SMC) equipped with protective gear and specialized machines today sanitized various areas of Lal Bazar.

The sanitization works were carried at Botsha Mohalla, Mughal Mohalla, Sheikh Hamzah Colony, Satbooni and other adjacent of Lal Bazar.

Under the directions of Srinagar Mayor, Junaid Azim Mattu, the Deputy Mayor, Parvaiz Ahmad Qadri along with the concerned Corporator, Danish Shafi , visited the areas and took first hand assessment of the sanitization works being carried by the SMC.

On the occasion, sanitization chemical mixture was sprayed in various lanes and bye lanes of these areas.

Besides, the Deputy Mayor also visited ATMs in the area and directed the concerned to ensure ATMs are being sanitized on regular basis.

Deputy Mayor informed that extensive sanitization drive is being carried in Srinagar with an aim to break the chain of transmission of COVID 19.
