Awantipora Police Seizes 36 vehicles for defying Govt orders

Srinagar, Apr 21 (KINS): Acting tough against the violators of Government prohibitory orders, Awantipora Police have seized 36 vehicles for defying the restriction orders.

In the jurisdiction of PS Awantipora, Police have seized 12 vehicles for violating the Govt prohibitory orders issued by the District Magistrate u/s 144 CrPC.

In the jurisdiction of PS Pampore, Police have seized 04 vehicles for the violation of  the Govt prohibitory orders.

While in the jurisdictions of PS Tral and PS Khrew, Police have seized 06 vehicles and 14 vehicles respectively for violating the Govt prohibitory orders.

Awantipora Police have requested the general public to follow the restrictions imposed by Government in order to prevent the spread of Covid-19.(KINS)
