Me and my officials ‘not going’ for quarantine, says SMC Commissioner

Srinagar, May 3: Srinagar Municipal Corporation Commissioner Gazanfar Ali Sunday said he and his officials were not going for quarantine.

“We take all preventive measures. We use sanitiser. We have  protective gear for workers who work on the ground. Me and my officials are not going for quarantine,” Gazanfar told news agency KINS. A local news agency has reported that administration has decided to put SMC Mayor Junaid Mattuu, SMC Commissioner Gazanfar Ali, Syed Abul Qasim (JCA),  Sofi Akbar (Secty, SMC), besides various corporators. “It is good if some body is going for quarantine but me and my officials are not going. We have to run the Corporation,” he added. Earlier brother of SMC corporator was tested positive.
