Sopore, May 20 : Police in north Kashmir’s Sopore on Wednesday arrested a drug peddler and recovered charas from his possession.
Police in a statement issued said, Sopore Police continuing its war against drug menace in the police district, a Police Party of Police Station Sopore apprehended one drug peddler who identified as Bashir Ahmad Bhat son of Abdul Aziz Bhat of Khawajabagh Baramulla at Present Chinkipora Sopore and recovered Charas from his possession.
Statement reads, In this connection a case FIR No. 110/2020 has been registered against him and further investigation was taken up.
