AYUSH organizes awareness cum distribution camp in Kulgam

Srinagar, June 27 (KINS): To combat Covid-19, Department of Ayurveda Yoga and Naturopathy Unani Siddha and Homoeopathy (AYUSH) unit Kulgam in collaboration with NGO Sabeel, today distributed immunity boosters and other medicines here at degree college D. H. Pora Noorabad.

These medicines are being provided to boost the immune system of people to combat COVID-19.

District Nodal Officer AYUSH, informed that AYUSH Department has also distributed immunity boosting drugs at hospitals, quarantine centres, among frontline workers and today a distribution camp was organized here at Degree college D. H. Pora in which immunity boosters and other medicines were distributed.

He added that the distribution drive will continue in view of prevailing situation of COVID-19.

An Awareness session was also conducted in which participants were apprised by experts about the do’s and don’ts imperative to contain the spread of COVID-19.

Among others BMO D. H. Pora, District Nodal officer ISM, Tehsildar, and members of Sabeel were present on the occasion.(KINS)
