Kulgam man dies of COVID-19, JK toll 140

SRINAGAR, July 06(KINS) : Kashmir this evening reported seventh COVID related death as Kulgam man died at SKIMS.

Medical Superintendent SKIMS Professor Farooq Jan told news agency KINS that a 65-year-old man from DHpora Kulgam was admitted on 29 june 2020 in M/e and then pt was shifted to Medical Observation where sample was taken. He said “patient came positive and was shifted to Infectious Disease Block as a case of Hypertension,T2DM with Encephalopathy with septic uremic and B/L CAP and pt died late this evening” he added.

This is seventh COVID related death in a single day in Kashmir Division.

With this fresh death, the toll rises to 140 in the union territory of Jammu and Kashmir.(KINS)
